We shook hands,
my alter side and I,
though he was not as dark
as I thought I was bright.
Therefore I held him close
as black faded to gray,
and I told him we were healing
and we would be okay.
Since I denied this twisted ribbon of fate,
they call me evil.
Then what does that make you?
It's a witch hunt all over again.
Hurry, hurry,
praise a deafening lord.
They have turned their backs on me.
From the blind I awake,
this was never a dream.
Look what you've done,
now we have to start all over again.
Don't waste your breath,
it's useless to show truth.
They call me wicked,
but what about you?
Faith has clouded judgement.
Hurry, hurry,
there's not much time left.
Praise the holy city,
gates and eyes shut,
to find your way out of the dark.
And they told me to believe
but they call me unholy.
In a forest of sin,
no one is safe.
Read me
and you shall learn
a question or a choice.
Read me
and you shall learn
my thoughts without a voice.
I am words
from a simple mind.
Read me
and you shall find
memories I left behind.
Behind simple curvings
of ink to paper,
you shall know me
from a simple letter.

City of Empires
I know you're out there
waiting for morning to strike.
You can't fight this forever
or be broken by life.
If I ruled the world,
you wouldn't need to be afraid.
You'd be safe and sound
on my own sacred ground.
In the city of empires,
a crown, a throne, a kingdom.
I would build you a shield.
I would give you your freedom.
I know you're dreaming away
the pain of reality.
You're going to have to wake
when I promise to keep you safe.
I'll build walls as tall as mountains
and break away your armor of silence.
It's okay to come to me.
I'll be your king and your queen.
In the city of empires,
somewhere lost in your soul.
One day I will come get
Please don't say sorry
after this is all over.
There is nothing to regret
even if I'll still miss you.
The hurt was inevitable from the start,
I guess we just didn't see it coming.
Was it from the day you looked away?
or the day I stopped worrying?
If you
if I
really loved,
would we still be here right now?
I hope you'll miss me
because something was real,
just not anymore.
Of course this is goodbye
but how frustrating
that we can let go so easily.
The pain is dull
and welcome.
If you
if I
just came a bit closer
it might have been
more beautiful
but more tragic.
It's a cloudy day today
so I guess this is goodbye.

Demons Under Control
These words
have been ripped out of my chest
and thrown onto this paper
splattered with my blood.
The heart still beats
slower
in the suffocating darkness
that fills my veins
and won't let me go.
In this life
which has poisoned my tongue
it builds another side
that crushes my hard-earned labor.
And as the waves
and winds
batter and tear me to shreds
and push me back
every time I try to crawl out
I start over.
There is not much left
nothing to look at
nothing to love
nothing to save
anymore.
This life
whose gods have abandoned me
under a merciless sky
has nothing more to show
and now it is my choice
whether to die
or to survive.
I will be chasing
these steps
and following
this road.
They are leading me
further from the end
further than I ever could've imagined
to be.
Now here I am.
I don't know why
but
even after all the rain
and the sorrow
and the pain
I'll stay here
because it's all mine to keep.
Nobody will ever know
how I felt.
Leave me alone
and I'll never leave.
I forgive this merciless sky
who has battered me
within my last breath.
Even if I'm gone
in the arms of Heaven
this path will continue
to no end.
Follow me.
One by one
step by step
until there is nothing left.

"Just this once and then no more,"
Is what he said the night before
Until he lay upon his bed
And glist'ning drops of crystal red
danced like sirens round his head.
Dimly, through the haze of sleep
it came to him in tankards deep:
Parched, he lifted it to drink,
his lips alighted on the brink.
Though somewhere in his mind he knew
that what he saw could not be true,
Yet he swore before it faded
he would feel his longing sated.
Even as he thought this last,
the vision vanished from his grasp.
Soft, he heard that devil speak
"Hurry! While your soul is weak.

I love him, I love him so much, I love him to death
I’d do anything for him, I’ll even cause everyone in this school their last breath

Oh how my Senpai sends my heart a twirl
I’m not crazy maybe just a little obsessed, but it’s all for love
Oh here is my chance she is on the roof, look out from above!
Her body hitting the ground making an awful cracking sound
This girl’s gurgling noises seem rather enticing as she is being drowned

We braced the rain like sailors
Conquering a staunch sea,
Faces pale like stretched sails,
Crashing through puddles.
That night we kindled a flame,
Perched on a balcony of light
Where words spilled forth like
Day into night and I can only
Listen, as the hills do in the rain;
hear as the clouds fall to the ground.
And as the sleepy morning rose
Our eyes fought back the light;
Let us drift together and dream
to the mellifluous lilt of the birdsong;
soaring with the sun
and tumbling with the rain.
Soon, when homing geese beckon
the rising of clouds and light
we can succumb to hope and love
And I will show you my world.

seventeen
that night
and there we were;
our eyes and
bodies
subdued,
we’d been spun out of white light.

on the old
